MEET OUR AUTHORS

  • ROGER PAUL

    Rev. Roger Paul is a Guyanese-born Barbadian who has a heart for Jesus and a passion for preaching the gospel to the world. He is Pastor of the Solid Word International Ministries and has been in full-time ministry for over 17 years. He has a love for people and the desire to reach children and youth. It is this desire that led him to begin writing The Solid Word Book Series - children's storybooks with solid life lessons grounded in Biblical principles, reaching the church and beyond. 

  • ANNA PAUL

    Anna Paul is a beautiful, smart 11-year-old from the island of Barbados. She loves to read and is very creative. Most of all, she loves the Lord Jesus Christ and received Him as her personal Savior at age 5. So inspired was she by books written by her father, Rev. Roger Paul, to include ‘The Adventures of Finley the Flying Fish’ series, that one day at a mere 8 years old, all on her own, she too began to write her series she titled ‘The Adventures of Polo the Polar Bear’. Her hope is that children all over the world will learn from her stories to make them better boys and girls. Anna prays that they too can be inspired to write stories of their own to further help other children.

We do in-person and virtual readings for schools, Literacy programmes and children's events, even showing the images while we read! Feel free to send us an email with your request to thesolidwordbookseries@gmail.com

What inspires your books?

Seeing children enjoy the adventure and illustrations with excitement. Seeing the glee in their faces as they read, reminding me of my own childhood, knowing this is what I always wanted, this keeps me, Roger Paul, inspired to write.

Will there be a sequel or new book releasing soon?

We have books waiting to be published, continuations of what you already love. Stay tuned for more!
